The RAID/SDI/IANTD Dry Suit Diving Courses are a comprehensive program designed for those looking to expand their diving capabilities into cooler waters. Here’s what you need to know:

Prerequisites:

  1. Open to RAID/SDI/IANTD Open Water Scuba Divers, RAID/SDI/IANTD Junior Open Water Divers, or equivalent.
  2. Minimum age is 18, or 12 with parental consent.

Course Insights:

  1. Different dry suit types: Shell style, Crushed neoprene, and Neoprene.
  2. Seal types: Latex and Neoprene.
  3. Key features: Self donning, rear entry, boots, zipper guards, warm neck collars, suspenders, and dive wear insulation.
  4. Understanding components like dry suit valves, inflator and deflator.
  5. Mastering buoyancy control.
  6. Maintenance: Cleaning, zipper care, and minor repairs.
  7. Handling dry suit emergencies.

Skills Development:

  1. Dive planning.
